• at 60 = ~ less than 1,000 weeks left of healthy active life
• we can make money but not more time 
• no amount of money that we "must have" to retire / we have to make it work
• financial planning works with assumptions about the future / in retirement reality may differ from the plans
• most dangerous phrase = "one more year of work" / we'll never be totally ready to retire
• don't waste the "youth" of your senior years
• consider health / there is no healthy aging / aging is progressive destruction
